What does being a Christian entail?
- We believe that first of all, as Christians, our focus
should always be to make heaven. Therefore, we need to
constantly seek and do the will of God for our lives (Romans
8:14). We desire to worship God in spirit and in truth in our
private and public worship (Revelation 22:9). Also, Every
Christian should strive to live a holy life that is worthy of
emulation, as the whole of creation is expecting the
manifestation of the sons of God (1 Thessalonians 5:23).
-

-
Is this Church socially relevant?
- Yes we are! We do believe strongly that Church is not just a
place to sing, dance, and clap. In addition to learning and
growing as a Christian, the Church constantly seeks avenues to
help make a meaningful contribution to the lives of members, as
well as how members can help the Government build a healthy
nation.
-

-
Will I feel welcome?
- Sure you will. We believe you will be the best judge of that
question when you enter into our midst .
-
Why should I be born again?
- The most important requirement in the life of every man
aspiring to make heaven is to be born again. Jesus said in John
3:3, except a man is born again, he cannot see the Kingdom of
God.
-
I am in a backsliding state; will God ever accept me back?
- The Bible says that God does not delight in the death of
sinners; therefore no sinner is an exception. What you must do
then is to make a firm decision to change your ways, pray to God
to help you stop committing those sins and make an effort to
follow God all the way. (Read Ezekiel 18:23)
-
What must I do to be born again?
- You must accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour into your life.
Romans 10:8-11 (The New Living Translation) reads, “Salvation
that comes from trusting Christ – which is the message we preach
– is already within reach. In fact, the Scriptures say, “The
message is close at hand; is on your lips and in your heart.”
For if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and
believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you
will be saved.
For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right
with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are
saved.
As the Scriptures tell us, “Anyone who believes in Him will not
be disappointed.”
-
I always try to live above sin but have always failed, how
can I find help?
- You must understand that you cannot live above sin on your
own strength therefore you need to seek the help of God. You
need to pray to God, and believe that He is able to deliver you
from the grips of sin. Hebrews 11:6 – “So you see, it is
impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come
to Him must believe that there is a God and He rewards those who
sincerely seek Him. (New Living Translation)
-
What can God do for me that my government cannot do?
- If your Country’s president or any of your Government
Officials is the one who would be at the gates of heaven, then
it would be easy to make it into God’s Kingdom. Please refer to
John 14:6, where Jesus says that He only is the way, the truth
and the life. Otherwise, the best advice that can be given is
for you to talk to God Himself (just by saying a short prayer),
and let Him prove Himself. (After all, you gave your government
an opportunity to prove itse
